Bangor-based Mango will play an instrumental role in creating experiences to remember for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions

Mango, Northern Ireland’s largest independent contact centre, has teamed up with the Northern Ireland Children to Lapland and Days to Remember Trust (Lapland Trust) in a partnership aimed at expanding the reach of the charity’s impactful work for children.

The collaboration will support the Lapland Trust in its mission to provide unforgettable experiences for terminally ill, life-limited and deserving children from across Northern Ireland, including yearly trips to Lapland, Disneyland and more.

Mango, headquartered in Balloo Court in Bangor, has been serving organisations across the globe with an extensive range of telemarketing services for over a decade.

Family-owned and managed since 2008, it has established itself as a leader in its field, specialising in telephony management, call handling, and offering a full end-to-end solution. Its services also extend to email and social media management, live chat and SMS responses to name a few. Among its impressive client list are renowned home shopping channels TJC and Create and Craft, as well as charities UNICEF, WWF, Save The Children, and many more.

The company’s dedication to creating a positive influence within its community is deeply ingrained in its operations. This commitment is exemplified by an extensive history of fundraising initiatives which have raised over £20 million since its inception, while its apprenticeship programme and various other community-oriented endeavours further illustrate its strong CSR goals.

Now, Mango wants to broaden that social impact by committing to a partnership with the Lapland Trust.

Stuart Lally, CEO of Mango, said: “We were deeply moved by the amazing experiences the NI Children to Lapland and Days to Remember Trust has provided to local children since its inception in 2008. Our team at Mango is extremely passionate about contributing to the local community and supporting local charities. Whether it’s through sponsorship, volunteering, or fundraising – we are dedicated to helping worthy causes thrive to benefit more people in need.”

Mango has already shown its dedication to the charity through its recent participation in the Lapland Trust’s annual ‘Walk to Scotland’ event in October. During this event, the Mango team raised over £950 in support of the charity.

Mango’s upcoming fundraising plans involve a range of creative and unique activities in the run-up to Christmas, all designed to support the charity’s annual trip to Lapland. The company is eager to make a significant contribution to this cherished cause and plans to engage in various fundraising initiatives throughout the year.

Colin Barkley, Chair of the Northern Ireland Children to Lapland and Days to Remember Trust (NICLT), expressed his gratitude for Mango’s partnership, stating, “We are delighted to have Mango as our corporate partner. In a landscape filled with numerous worthy charitable causes, we are honoured by their choice to support us. This invaluable partnership will significantly enhance our ability to fulfil our mission, offering terminally ill, life-limited, and deserving children from Northern Ireland truly cherished and magical experiences.”

Mango joins a host of other local businesses that are now part of the NICLT family including Wineflair, The Bushmills Inn, Hagan Homes, Barclay Communications, C-Tec (NI), Glens of Antrim Potatoes, CosyRoof, Bells of Crossgar and Energystore.
