Walk to Scotland 2022

Charity walk from Belfast to Scotland, Sunday 20th November 2022.

It’s back! After an absence of two years, our annual Walk to Scotland returns on Sunday 20th November 2022 and we would love you to be a part of it.

Sadly, the causeway once built by the legendary Finn McCool no longer exists, so to make the 60-mile journey to Scotland, we have enlisted the help of Stena Superfast ship. Walking around a designated circuit on board as we sail, you can now ‘walk to Scotland’ without getting your feet wet.

This is a sponsored walk with a difference and a unique opportunity to help some very deserving children in Northern Ireland.

The walk will take place on board the Stena Line Superfast ship whilst on its way to Scotland from Belfast. Please note we will not disembark in Scotland.

On the way to Scotland the non-walkers you can sit back, relax and enjoy all the facilities on offer. In the Living Room, with complimentary magazines, newspapers and flatscreen televisions, you’ll feel right at home. Or enjoy a trip to the movies in the free onboard cinema. Plus, with WiFi you can surf across the Irish Sea for free!

The new Superfast ferries are the only ships on the Irish Sea to offer a Pure Nordic Spa. So, whether it’s a rejuvenating dip in the Jacuzzi or a steam in the sauna, you can be sure that you’ll arrive refreshed and ready to go. Optional extra costs will apply for the Spa.

On the return journey, enjoy our cabaret show of music, magic and comedy, headlined by the fabulous Fiddler Adam.

Walk Itinerary

 

  • Check-in at – Stena, Victoria Terminal, Westbank Road, (off Dargan Road) BT3 9LJ.

  • Check-in opens at 9.45am and closes at 10.30am.

  • Depart at 11am.

  • Complimentary lunch – 1pm.

  • Arrive back in Belfast at 6pm.

Registration Details

We would kindly ask each walker to raise a minimum of £100.

Please bring your family and friends along to support you.

The ‘Non- Walker’ price is £35 for Adults, £25 for children and children under 3 years old are free of charge.

Fees include return fare, meal, and super entertainment.

We also appreciate donations from non-walkers and their friends. (Sponsor forms and online fund raising may be used)

We apologise that there is only a limited number of wheelchair spaces available, allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis… please contact us, at the time of booking, if a wheelchair space is required.
