When the charity was launched in 2008, one of the first people to respond to our general mailing was Lynda Mullan, Retail Operations Manager, from Wineflair.
They became the first business to pledge their support and adopt us as their charity partner, in a forerunner of what is now our very successful ‘Corporate Partner’ scheme.
Their support has been unwavering in donations, at various events and in providing transport to help us deliver the larger toys during our 3 Steps to Christmas campaigns.
Lynda’s contribution doesn’t stop there. She has ‘encouraged’ her family to get involved and through husband Stephen’s involvement, Carrick Cycle Club have been regular supporters. Stephen, along with their sons Marcus and Christian, have also become volunteers, helping with delivering presents and dressing as elves, no less! Now that is commitment to the cause!
Lynda’s elevation to the Board is as deserved as it is overdue, and we have no doubt that her energy and her business acumen as well as her personality will be a great continuing asset to the charity.
